Data You Give Us Directly
The search forms on this site send what you enter, such as a name, phone number, or address, to the third-party provider that supplies the results. We do not save a copy of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them only to respond.
Data Collected Automatically
As with most websites, our hosting systems keep standard server logs. Those logs may include IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the site and understand which Calexico records pages are useful to visitors. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use the data described above to operate the site, troubleshoot errors, measure traffic, and improve pages. We do not sell a visitor list. We also do not build individual user profiles from site activity.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to government portals, Imperial County and California records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each outside site has its own privacy policy. Data you submit to RecorderWorks, Imperial Superior Court, the Assessor, voter tools, or sponsored search results is governed by that provider's rules, not ours.

Service providers that host and support this site may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it. Outside those limited cases, we do not share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Because we do not offer user accounts, this site has no visitor password or account profile to expose.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on your residence and the facts of the request, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain personal data a website holds about you. California's consumer privacy framework is commonly referred to as the CCPA/CPRA. Because we hold very little, most requests are narrow: we can search our contact mailbox and server logs and remove what we find when required or appropriate. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Calexico, Imperial County, or California offices are outside our control; removal or correction requests for those records must go to the custodian office.
